Day 01: Cairo/St Catherine’s {L,D}. Early Morning pick up from your hotel in Cairo by your representative and Egyptologist tour Guide and private driver and transfer for an exciting tour to St Catherine’s Monastery “approximately 6 hours from Cairo within Sightseeing”. drive  from Cairo via Suez canal road, proceed to Sinai peninsula through the tunnel of Ahmed hamdi {it is 3km long under the Suez canal} which connect Africa to Asia, continue the drive to Abou Zeneima then to Ferran Oasis “the pearl of Sinai” which is by far the most fertile area in the whole peninsula and there are large numbers of tamarisks, the trees which are believed to have supplied the manna of the Bible and large numbers of fruits & Palms trees, then to “the Monastery of the Seven Girls” and the wells of Moses.

Late Afternoon arrive St Catherine’s Monastery the oldest Monastery in the world, stand on the highest position on the Sinai Peninsula between the Mount of Katerin and the base heart Mount of Moses {2,285 M high}, where god is believed to have revealed the Ten Commandments to Moses. Lunch & Dinner and overnight at your hotel in St Catherine’s.

Day 02: St Catherine’s/Cairo {B,L}. Early Morning at {02:00 A.M} Breakfast Basket followed by a pick up by your representative and Egyptologist tour Guide and private driver and transfer to Ascend the Mount of Moses by privet camel ride {2,285 M high}, where Moses received from god the tables of Law known as the Ten Commandments. The view on the summit is particularly spectacular at sunrise and sunset and overlooking the Aqaba harbour in Eilat Israel, Jordan and Saudi Arabian mountains. Thereafter at {07:00 A.M} Descend the Mount to visit St Catherine’s Monastery, the Basilica Church of the transfiguration, dedicated to one of Alexander’s rulers “St Katerin” who was tortured to death for the sake of her new faith, Then to visit the Burning Bush from which god allegedly spoke to Moses, The chapel of St Helena’s Emperor Justinian’s wife, then to the  second world religiously significant Library after the Vatican contains over 5000 books and 3000 manuscripts, most in Greek, Arabic, Syrian, Russian, Persian Ethiopian & including some of the earliest copies of the New Testament. Then proceed to the crypt of monks’ skeleton and the Chapel of St Tryphon.

Thereafter Lunch overlooking the St Catherine’s Monastery, after Lunch drive back to Cairo.

NB Climate: St Catherine’s is very cold in winter from Nov until Jan.

NB Opening Hours: St Catherine’s is open every day from 09-00 A.M to 11-45 A.M.

NB official day off: St Catherine’s closes every Friday, Sunday and Public holidaies.
